Attractions on the trail: Old town of Pag - the ruins of a Franciscan monastery and the
Church of Sv. Marys in Romanesque style, pastures and meadows, shepherds' houses,
drywall fences, sheep, the small village of Kosljun, the beach.
Trail description: The trail leads to the former position of the town of Pag, which is today a
rich archeological site and shrine with the Church of Sv. The locals and tourists walk
pilgrimages to the new Pag every year, bearing the statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The
trail continues along the oldest road on the island, through grazing pastures to the village of
Košljun, which used to be the main island port.
